Erpho requires a data request form to be completed for all ad hoc requests. Ad hoc requests make up a significant proportion of erpho’s workload, especially those relating to the HES dataset. The introduction of a request form will:
- Ensure clarity as to what data are required, what analysis is appropriate and what format information needs to be supplied;
- Allow erpho to prioritize and respond to data requests as efficiently as possible;
- Allow erpho to audit the use of the request service and monitor our performance.

Unless the request is very straightforward request forms will be reviewed together on a weekly basis and work will then be prioritized.
