Archived modelled estimates and projections of COPD for PCTs in England (updated Oct 08)
PLEASE NOTE: These estimates and projections have been superseded by the update released 7 December 2011.
Estimates and projections of the prevalence of COPD for PCTs in England (008), based on a model developed by Nacul & Soljak.
Estimated prevalence of COPD by sex, by broad ethnic group and by age band for 2005-2020.
These estimates replace earlier versions of COPD prevalence published by ERPHO.
January 2009: Results have been updated using latest ONS estimates of population by ethnic group for PCTs. For PCTs that are coterminous with one or more Local Authorities this will make no difference. However, PCTs with more complex geographical relationships to LAs (i.e. covering partial LAs) should use the revised estimates.
